Artificial marble

Artificial marble possesses decorative properties as simulates the natural marble applied to facing of surfaces of stone, concrete and wooden designs.

Artificial marble produce from plaster knitting, impregnating with their condensing additives (alum, animal glue etc.). To give to structure the set colour and drawing, into a plaster mix enter chosen dry shchelochestojkie and svetostojkie pigments - oksid chrome, ohru, a mummy, minium, etc., approximately 3-4% from weight.

Some structures of the test for artificial marble are resulted in tab. 2.

Process of manufacturing of artificial marble occurs in the following sequence. After clearing and washing by water of a revetted surface on it the ground is imposed. As a rule, it is put by two layers in the general thickness not less than 15 mm.

The First layer of earth - obryzg - is made of a solution of a liquid consistence not thicker 5 mm. After hardening of the first layer the second is put - from a solution of normal density. Structures of solutions for a ground are resulted in tab. 3.

Turned out mix get mixed up on 2-2,5%-s' glutinous solution. For the best coupling of an obverse layer of artificial marble on a ground surface notch a grid with scratches depth of 3-4 mm.

The Obverse layer of marble put on a ground within a month. There are two ways of drawing of an obverse layer: lopatochnyj and panel board (bulk and unprofitable).

Work on drawing of an obverse layer of plaster marble begins with proveshivanija surfaces and establishments of beacons. Then standards oselkovogo marble with their definitive furnish are produced and dry mixes according to samples (tab. 2) are prepared. After preparation of a glutinous solution and the plaster test it is carried out obmazyvanie ground surfaces by a liquid plaster solution. The layer should be in the thickness no more than 2 mm. The marble dough put on a ground and smooth down.

The Processed layer of marble in 2-3 hours after shvatyvanija smooth out and scrape a surface tsarapkoj or tsiklej, eliminating roughnesses (that allows to reveal drawing of artificial marble). Definitive alignment of a surface (ostrozhka) make sherhebelem and tsinubelem till a design thickness, checking a plane a plumb and rejkoj, and after the termination ostrozhki - otfugovannoj a rejkoj-rule. .

Having executed ostrozhku in places where the plaster weight has insufficiently seized, it cut down together with beacons. Empty spaces are filled with the plaster test, and after hardening are smoothed out, ottsiklevyvajutsja and ostrugivajutsja.

For removal of a thin layer of marble rough grinding pechoroj or pumice is carried out, and scratches and traces ostrozhki are eliminated simultaneously. During grinding it is necessary to moisten a marble surface constantly with water by means of a sponge, washing off formed shlam.

Then the ground surface should be washed out pure water, and after drying zashpatlevat. It is necessary to fill all time with a plaster mix of corresponding tone and colour and an involved 5-6%-s' glutinous solution.

Later 2-3 days again grind a surface soft slate № 1 (black).

Process shpatlevanija and grindings is necessary for continuing until the marble surface does not become smooth to the touch, without scratches on a surface. Then marble wash out water and carefully dry up a surface. .

Thin grinding carry out slate № 2 and the same as and at rough grinding, continuously moisten a surface with water. Before grinding the thin layer is necessarily put on marble shpatlevki.

Through 4 - 6 hours after last grinding by a brush-bench hammer put 8-10%-s' glutinous solution before full saturation of marble. In two days a surface again grind, preliminary having moistened with water. Loshchenie green oselkom № 1 it is carried out before occurrence on a surface of matte velvet.

For 1 - 2 hours before polishing cover a surface with a glutinous solution. Polishing is carried out in stages black oselkom before occurrence of matte shine. A polished surface during process slightly moisten with water.

For reception of mirror shine in 7-8 days after polishing it is made voshchenie. Preliminary wiped by gasoline or turpentine a surface pound wax paste by means of a linen rag, and then dry wipe suede or felt to shine.

Wax paste prepares before the use: 1 mas. ch. The natural wax cut by a thin shaving mix with 0,2 mas. ch. A rosin powder. In turned out mix pour in 2 mas. ch. Solvent also warm up on a water bath, continuously stirring slowly before reception of homogeneous weight. .

On 1 m 2 in the thickness of 1 sm is required to a surface of artificial marble 42 kg of plaster, 2 kg of joiner's glue, about 5 kg of dry pigments, 0,13 kg firm and soft oselkov, 0,04 kg of wax and 0,1 kg of solvent (gasoline, turpentine or spirit).
